Quantified Tree Risk Assessment and Arboricultural Management

The Quantified Tree Risk Assessment (QTRA) system quantifies and combines the components of tree failure risk. It is possible to calculate with some accuracy the usage of vehicular and pedestrian targets upon which trees could fail.

QTRA Benefits

One of the greatest benefits of Quantified Tree Risk Assessment is that it enables an informed overview of the risks associated with tree population to be carried out as a desktop exercise before the tree survey takes place. When the risk overview is complete, the assessment will usually record only the general attributes of groups or collections of trees. By having a professional tree health assessment early enough, measures can be taken to save a tree or prevent it from potential disease. We are aware of which diseases infect different species of trees and what to look for to determine if they have already been infected before they become hazards.
